LINCS will be removing the following 13 online self-directed courses tomorrow, December 18, 2020. After midnight EST tonight, December 17, 2020, you will no longer have access to these courses.

Career Pathways

  • ACP: Building Strategic Partnerships
  • ACP: Developing Effective Bridge Programs
  • ACP: Designing Contextualized Instruction
  • ACP: Integrating Career Counseling and Planning
  • ACP: Engaging Employers in Adult Career Pathways

Disabilities and Equitable Outcomes

  • Learning to Achieve: Learning Disabilities and Neuroscience

English Language Acquisition

  • ELL-U: Second Language Acquisition
  • ELL-U: Teaching Emergent Readers
  • ELL-U: Formative Assessment
  • ELL-U: The Role of Culture
  • ELL-U: Principles of Second Language Teaching

Science

  • Engaging Adult Learners in Science
  • Scientific Practices in Context

If you have not done so, please plan to immediately complete any work on these courses or access any resources and download your completion certificates before midnight EST tonight.  You will not be able to access the courses, resources, or completion certificates after today. In anticipation for these courses being retired, LINCS will be revising and updating online courses and developing new courses over the next two program years. We believe that the revisions, updates, and new course developments will fill some of the gaps created by the retirement of the courses listed. Additionally, OCTAE has ongoing national leadership activities that will address other gaps being created by the retirement of these courses. If you have any questions, please email us at training@lincs.ed.gov .
